Clean Water Changes the Future

We talk a lot about clean water around here, but the importance of it in western dentistry doesn’t even scratch the surface of the global need. Over 700 million people still do not have access to clean water, but well-by-well, we hope to change that story.

Meet Heal + Thrive Global

Through Heal + Thrive Global, Ugandan communities are gaining reliable access to clean water for the first time. What seems like a basic necessity is becoming a catalyst for transformation, supporting not just life, but generations. By building wells in rural villages, Heal + Thrive Global is helping create a foundation for literacy, leadership, and long-term community development.

Clean Water Changes Lives

Access to clean water is a cornerstone of health, education, and economic opportunity. Families no longer must walk miles for water, children can attend school , and women can build businesses and lead their communities. Here’s a look at the impact clean water is already making in the communities we support.

2 Wells Built in Acuna: In 2025, ProEdge helped bring new sources of clean water to the rural Ugandan community of Acuna.

270+ Families Served: Each well now provides nearby, reliable access to safe drinking water for hundreds of households.

11 Wells Drilled: Through Heal + Thrive partnerships, clean water access has expanded to more than 16,500 people.

4–6 Hours Saved Each Day: With water closer to home, families gain back valuable time once spent walking long distances to collect it.

Why We Give

We’ve been so blessed to not only partner with Heal + Thrive, but also to witness their work up close—and it’s something that truly has to be seen to be believed. Through these visits, our team has been transformed by these men, women, and children who have spent their lives seeking something many of us have at our fingertips: reliably clean water.

While every encounter is different, one thing is always the same—the overwhelming sense of joy, relief, and hope that comes with the arrival of clean water.
