Why does my water taste mineralized with BluTab?
BluTab is inherently flavorless and should not add taste to your water. If your patients are noticing a taste, it most likely due to the antimicrobials removing bacteria or biofilm or BluTab competing with a prior treatment. In both of these instances, shocking and flushing your lines is a helpful solution.
Why is my water foaming after using BluTab?
If you notice that your water is foaming, it’s because there is residual residue from previous treatment products in your waterlines. Some treatment products coat the inside of your waterlines with a “lining” to inhibit biofilm buildup. In contrast, BluTab works by giving your waterlines a good “scrub,” removing bacteria from the sides of the lines. When you see foaming in your water, it’s because BluTab is trying to remove the residual lining potentially left from a previous treatment product. We recommend shocking your lines to help resolve the issue. If it persists, please reach out to our support team so we can help you troubleshoot further!
How do I make a premixed solution with BluTab?
BluTab lasts for 21 days once it’s mixed with water, and many offices find that premixing a solution keeps their daily treatment protocol streamlined and efficient. Here are our recommended solutions mixtures:
Five 750mL tabs per in 1 gallon of distilled or tap water
Two 2L tabs per in 1 gallon of distilled or tap water
What is the shelf life of BluTab?
BluTab has a shelf life of 3 years and is a great option for offices looking to buy a treatment product in bulk!
